The Box Elder School District is aware of an anonymous Facebook post that makes disturbing allegations against one of our staff members. The staff member is aware of the identity of the individual, and has addressed prior false statements by this person. He will address the allegations through the legal process, including the criminal justice system. The District conducts thorough background checks on all its employees and monitors staff conduct with students on a regular basis. Parents are encouraged to speak to building level administrators rather than assume anonymous posts are factual.

This research study aims to investigate school absenteeism and identify strategies that promote positive school attendance. The study will involve a collaborative effort among students, staff, and parents/guardians in the form of focus groups, surveys, and interviews. Below is the link to access the parent/guardian survey. The survey will take roughy 7 minutes to complete. You input is critical in addressing this growing issue of absenteeism impacting schools around the nation.
