Letter from Superintendent MacDonald

Date: 3/12/20

Community Members,

Please be advised the Box Elder School District is making preparations to address issues created by COVID-19 should it impact our local area. Our school will remain open unless required to close by the federal, state, tribal, or county governments. We currently have communication lines open with multiple government departments at varying levels. If we are required to close school we are exploring options to continue to provide educational services for students.

District administrators, supervisors and leadership are putting together a plan to take to the School Board. The School Board will conduct a regularly scheduled meeting on Monday, March 16th at 5:00. Additional details will be provided to families and the community as they become available.

The safety of our students and staff will be our highest priority. We will continue to update the community using a variety of forms of communication. Here are two links you can use for information from the CDC and MT DPHHS.
